How we handle your information

This policy explains what information Family Barber Shop (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit familybarbershopusa.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our shop is located at 4750 Alabama Rd #116, Roswell, GA 30075. Questions can be sent to familybarbershop30@gmail.com or by calling (678) 395-3129.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you call us, email us, or sign up for our rewards program in the shop, we collect what you provide: typically your name, phone number, and email address, along with your appointment history. Appointments and payments are processed by Square, Inc. under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically. When you visit this website, we and our service providers collect standard technical information: the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, your approximate location (city level), the type of device and browser you use, your IP address, and the website or ad that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.

Phone calls. We use call tracking so we can tell which advertising brings customers to the shop. When you call a number shown on this website or on our Google listing, the call may be routed through a tracking service that records the number you called from, the time of the call, and the source that showed you the number. Calls may be recorded for quality purposes; if a call is recorded, you will hear a notice at the start.

How we use it

• To schedule and confirm appointments and run our rewards program.
• To send appointment reminders and, if you have opted in, rebooking reminders and occasional offers by text or email. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or using the unsubscribe link.
• To understand how people use our website and which ads work, so we can improve both.
• To respond to your questions and requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads measurement to understand site traffic and advertising performance. These tools set cookies and may collect the technical information described above. Google’s use of this data is governed by its own policies. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. We may also use advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure ad performance and to show ads to people who have visited this site; you can manage those ad preferences in your account settings on those platforms.

Service providers

We share information only with companies that help us run the business and only for that purpose: Square (appointments, payments, and rewards), Google (website analytics, advertising, and maps), our call-tracking provider, and our website hosting provider. Each is required to protect the information and use it only to provide services to us.

Your choices

• You can ask us to update or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us at the email or phone number above.
• You can opt out of marketing texts or emails at any time; appointment confirmations and reminders will still be sent for appointments you book.
• You can decline cookies in your browser. The website will still work.

Children

We cut children’s hair, but this website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 13. Appointments for children are made by a parent or guardian.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. We keep customer and appointment records for as long as you are a customer and as needed for business and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
